RN - Long Term Care We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate and oversee the care of residents in our long-term care facility. This role combines direct patient care with leadership responsibilities, ensuring adherence to care plans, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
Provide and coordinate both direct and indirect nursing care, ensuring accurate assessments, timely interventions, and compliance with individualized care plans and facility standards
Administer medications and treatments safely and on schedule, documenting all care activities, condition changes, and updates to medical and nursing plans.
Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), promoting regulatory compliance, safety, and quality standards
Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, preparing reports and ensuring all parties are informed of resident status changes
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facilities
Leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
