Cardiac Catheterization (Coronary Disease) – STEMI
Peripheral Catheterization (Peripheral Artery Disease) – including AAA Repairs
Electrophysiology (Arrhythmias) – Studies, Ablations, and Device Implants
Required Certifications and Licenses
ACLS
IL Radiology Technologist
Skills Required
Scrub into procedures with procedural physician and support intra-procedure workflows & operate imaging equipment
Sterile technique, familiarity with Cath/EP/IR supplies & equipment, radiation safety
Support Within The Department
Manager & Assistant Manager

Orientation (Facility and Unit) NEO – 2 days departmental
Scheduling
Weekend rotation: 1 weekend on call per month
On call: 1-2 nights on call per week and 1 weekend (Fri 1730 – Mon 0700) call per month
Holiday expectations: 1 major holiday during contract
Shift times: 7am-17:30pm M-F (4 10‑hr shifts per week, day off varies week to week)
Schedule cycle: 6 week schedule at a time
