Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro‑Telemetry/Intermediate Care | Nights
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking an RN for its 36‑bed Neuro‑Telemetry unit at the High Point Medical Center, providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care to a diverse stroke patient population. The role is full‑time (36 hrs/week) with a 7 pm–7 am shift, every third weekend.

Salary:
$34.90–$52.35 per hour
Position Highlights
Sign‑On Bonus: $15,000 (eligible upon meeting requirements)
High‑performing stroke unit with 6 South Neuro designation
Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
Coverage for 183 nursing certifications through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
Clinical Nurse Credentialing Pathway (CNCP) eligible for program‑based incentives
Requirements
Minimum one year of RN experience
Graduate of an ACBRN‑approved nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Current, unrestricted RN license (compact or single‑state) with privileges to practice in the state of employment
Responsibilities
Participate in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to enhance care processes.
Apply the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) from admission through discharge.
Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, mobilize resources, and collaborate with the care team to influence outcomes.
Uphold and promote a culture of safety and continuously evaluate unit outcomes.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and per clinical protocols.
Provide effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution to foster teamwork and appropriate delegation.
Pursue professional development, maintain required education and certifications.
Practice according to the ANA Code of Ethics, respect interdisciplinary roles, and support integrated patient care.
Delegate responsibilities to other RN, LPN, nurse assistants, and UAP as appropriate.
Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
Float to other units or facilities within the service area as needed.
Demonstrate knowledge of age‑specific care for the patient population served.
