As a Behavioral Health Clinician (Masters Level / Licensed) you will provide evidence‑based practices and outpatient therapeutic interventions to adults and youth experiencing mental health or co‑occurring disorders and/or behavioral health concerns.

Responsibilities

Provide direct therapeutic interventions and support services, in‑person and by telehealth, to clients.

Conduct intake evaluations and ongoing assessments to develop treatment plans and determine appropriate interventions for a caseload of clients.

Ensure record‑keeping/documentation in accordance with internal and external requirements and regulations.

Coordinate treatment and care with other providers as needed.

Work as liaison between Vinfen programs, state agencies, funding sources, and community referral sources.

Communicate and network with community providers and collaterals to increase access to care and promote ambulatory care.

Provide services to children, adults, families, and/or groups.

Provide after‑hours on‑call coverage in rotation with other program staff.

Travel within MA to various locations as necessary.

Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology or related field.

Valid licensure or eligibility to become LCSW, LMHC, LADC I, or LMFT in Massachusetts is preferred but not required.

1 to 3 years of experience working with adults with persistent psychiatric conditions or co‑occurring disorders.

Strong time‑management, organizational, writing, and general computer skills.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.

Must successfully pass a CORI, SORI, reference, and multi‑state background check.

Familiar with behavioral health, substance/addiction disorders and psychiatric conditions.

Experienced in using evidence‑based practices, formal and informal assessment practices, crisis intervention techniques, and empowerment/self‑advocacy techniques.

Knowledge of managed care practices, medical necessity criteria, and community resources.

Excellent organizational and communication skills; sensitivity to cultural, religious, racial, disability, and gender issues.

Knowledge of the Code of Ethics and human, legal, civil rights.

Proven ability to work in a professional and confidential capacity.

First Aid required within two weeks of hire; CPR required within two weeks of hire; CPSS required.

Drivers' License is not required.

Physical Effort Ability to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques; operate a computer and other office equipment; remain in a stationary position 50% of the time; bend, reach, file, sit, stand and move around the facility; speak, hear and communicate with clients, staff, and external representatives. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay Range USD $71,780.00 – USD $78,480.00 per year.
