We are a well‑established, non‑emergency veterinary practice in Yuma, Arizona seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our team. This position focuses primarily on preventative care, routine appointments, and surgical support in a calm, organized environment with no after‑hours emergencies. Key Responsibilities
Assist DVM with routine surgeries (spays, neuters, dentals, mass removals)
Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
Obtain and process lab samples (blood, urine, fecal)
Take and interpret vital signs and patient histories
Place IV catheters, administer medications, and assist with radiology
Educate clients on preventive care and post‑operative instructions
Maintain accurate medical records
Support hospital cleanliness and patient safety
Qualifications
Current Certified/Licensed/Registered Veterinary Technician in Arizona
Strong anesthesia and surgical assisting skills
Compassionate, patient‑focused approach
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Excellent communication skills and client service skills
Motivated self‑starter who takes initiative without constant direction
