Pre‑K Before and After School Program Supervisor at HEALTHY KIDS PROGRAMS

Position Details
Part‑Time, Non‑Exempt
Hours: 7:00–9:00 am and 2:00–6:00 pm
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Location: Beekman Elementary School, Poughquag, NY
Responsibilities
Guide compliance: Ensure staff and program meet OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school rules.
Bring the fun: Direct engaging hands‑on activities based on the Healthy Kids Way Curriculum and homework completion.
Role model: Create a safe, healthy, and mega‑fun environment for children.
Manage like a boss: Assist the Site Director with management tasks, maintain accurate attendance and registration records, and ensure proper staffing levels.
Keep everyone in the loop: Maintain open lines of communication with parents via the Playground App.
Team collaboration: Communicate effectively with the Site Director and address issues promptly.
Requirements
Associate’s degree in Child Development, Child Development Certificate, or equivalent.
Child Development Associate Credential or another office‑recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period (with 1 year of experience).
9 Credits in Early Childhood or a related field with a plan of study leading to an Associate’s degree or other office‑recognized credential (with 1 year of experience).
Qualifications
Medically fit to perform all job duties; free of communicable diseases including TB.
Warm, friendly, upbeat, and excellent people skills with children, parents, and team members.
Professional, reliable, and always prompt.
Ready to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lb.), and keep up with energetic kids.
