Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
Location: Dartford, East London, Essex, Chelmsford, Romford, Ilford, Enfield, and Southend.
Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 + Van / Fuel Card + Overtime 1.5x + Training + Local Patch + Benefits.
Overview Are you a Mechanic, REME, HGV Technician or similar, looking to join a national leader in the industry who can provide full manufacturer‑led training and clear progression opportunities? On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join this company in a stable field‑based role. You will work on modern equipment, cover a local patch and maintain a good work‑life balance.
The company is a multi‑million manufacturer of specialist plant and material handling equipment supplying leading facilities. This role is available due to internal growth plans. This highly varied Monday‑Friday days‑based role covers a local patch. You will visit customer sites performing servicing, repairs and maintenance on a range of electro‑mechanical forklifts. The role would suit a mechanically experienced engineer looking to progress technically, receive multi‑skilled training and work for a secure business.
The Role
Service and maintenance on access, material handling, forklift equipment.
Monday - Friday local field‑based role.
Electrical, mechanical and hydraulics involved.
The Person
Experience in plant, forklift, REME, material handling, or vehicle background.
Any mechanical background welcomed.
Local to area.
