Job Summary and Responsibilities We are offering a $10K sign‑on bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. Tower 7 at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is a 24‑bed Cardiovascular Telemetry Unit. Our staff are trained in providing specialized care to patient populations including post‑acute cardiac surgery, post‑STEMI/NSTEMI, minor vascular surgery, and advanced heart‑failure patients with or without LVAD destination therapy. Job Responsibilities
Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms on telemetry monitors, identifying and reporting any abnormalities or changes (e.g., arrhythmias, ischemia, heart block).
Assess for signs and symptoms of cardiac compromise, fluid overload, electrolyte imbalances, and medication side effects.
Monitor vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, temperature) and hemodynamic parameters.
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, other nurses, and ancillary staff regarding patient status, changes, and concerns.
Educate patients and families on their specific cardiac condition, disease process, and treatment plan.
