Design and analyze
structural steel frames, skids, platforms, pipe racks, and support structures
for industrial heat transfer equipment
Evaluate loading conditions including
dead, live, wind, seismic, thermal expansion, transportation, lifting, and installation loads
Design base frames, saddles, beams, columns, bracing systems, lifting lugs, and tie‑down features

Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering , or
Mechanical Engineering
with strong structural emphasis
3–8 years
of experience designing structural steel frames and skids in an industrial or heavy manufacturing environment

AISC‑based design methods
and structural analysis software (ANSYS, STAAD, SAP2000, or similar)
Ability to produce
clear, defensible calculation packages
suitable for customer and third‑party review
Comfortable working cross‑functionally and supporting engineered‑to‑order projects
Work Environment This role is primarily office‑based with regular interaction in a manufacturing facility. PPE is required when on the shop floor, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety footwear. The manufacturing environment includes typical fabrication conditions such as noise, dust, and temperature variation. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required. PPE requirements apply on the shop floor.
