TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Home Infusion RN (Part Time) in Roanoke, VA to support home infusion therapy, IV medication administration, patient education, and care coordination in home and community‑based settings.

Base Pay Range $40.00/hr – $47.00/hr

Job Overview – Home Infusion RN (Part Time) In this part‑time role, you will conduct patient assessments, administer infusion therapies, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with care teams to deliver safe, high‑quality infusion care while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance.

Responsibilities as the Home Infusion RN (Part Time)

Patient Assessment & Care Planning:

Conduct initial and ongoing patient evaluations, assess home safety and caregiver support, and assist with developing and updating individualized plans of care based on physician orders.

Infusion Therapy & Clinical Care:

Administer prescribed IV medications, initiate and maintain IV access, monitor patient response, and deliver skilled nursing care in accordance with clinical standards and agency policies.

Patient & Caregiver Education:

Educate patients and caregivers on IV therapy, medication administration, infection control, and safety practices using appropriate teaching materials.

Care Coordination:

Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and care teams to coordinate treatment, communicate changes in patient status, and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation while supporting quality and compliance requirements.

Qualifications for the Home Infusion RN (Part Time)

Licensure:

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia required.

Certification:

Current CPR/BLS certification required.

Experience:

1+ year of professional nursing experience required, with home infusion, IV therapy, or home health experience.

Technical Skills:

Demonstrated competency in IV therapy, clinical documentation systems, and electronic communication tools, with strong assessment and critical‑thinking abilities.

Skills & Attributes:

Compassionate, detail‑oriented nurse with strong communication and organizational skills, able to work independently in home settings and support diverse patient needs.

Additional:

Valid driver’s license, reliable insured vehicle, and ability to travel locally required.
