We are working with a well-established construction company in the El Paso market seeking a
Commercial Construction Project Manager
to oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader who can manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships while partnering closely with Superintendents to deliver successful commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage commercial construction projects from
preconstruction through completion
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls
Lead buyout, subcontractor procurement, and contract negotiations
Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and consultants
Coordinate closely with Superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with plans
Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
Forecast costs, manage project financials, and protect project profitability
Identify risks early and proactively implement solutions
Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders
Oversee project closeout, documentation, and turnover
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on
commercial construction projects
Proven experience with
ground-up and/or complex commercial builds
Experience across sectors such as:
Office
Retail
Industrial
Healthcare
Hospitality
Education
Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and scheduling
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Proficiency with construction management software preferred
