What’s your day like? As a new Registered Nurse (RN) in our Psychiatric/Behavior Health department, you can expect to provide compassionate care to patients with mental health needs. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include conducting assessments, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, administering medications, and implementing individualized care plans. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well‑being of our patients while fostering a therapeutic environment. This position follows a
36/48 schedule , working
7 AM – 7 PM , allowing you to make a meaningful impact during evening shifts and have extended periods off for rest and rejuvenation.
Requirements To excel in the role, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy and compassion are essential in providing high‑quality care to patients with mental health conditions. You must be detail‑oriented, able to work effectively in a team setting, and capable of making quick and accurate decisions in critical situations. Adaptability and resilience are key traits to navigate the dynamic nature of psychiatric nursing, along with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient safety and care.
