About the Position Provide evidence‑based therapeutic assessments and interventions in a Skilled Nursing Setting to post‑acute and long‑term care patients. The position is PRN and offers a flexible schedule; the department is open 6:00 am–8:00 pm, 7 days per week. Collaborate and work in a team setting with other clinicians and restorative nursing staff.
Roles and Responsibilities
Plan, conduct, and evaluate the treatment program for individuals with speech and language disorders per ASHA guidelines.
Provide assessment and treatment of cognitive and swallowing disorders under the direction of the attending physician.
Requirements
Licensed, registered, or certified by the state in which the Speech‑Language Pathologist resides or practices.
Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech‑Language and Hearing Association.
