PRN PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA)
Location: Adamsville Healthcare & Rehab Center – Adamsville, TN About the Facility
Adamsville Healthcare & Rehab Center is a 140‑bed skilled nursing facility offering short‑term rehab, long‑term care, and outpatient therapy services. The facility also includes a 46‑bed secure memory care unit with a state‑of‑the‑art sensory room. We are currently hiring a PRN PTA with weekday availability to join our in‑house rehab team. Responsibilities
Provide high‑quality physical therapy treatments according to the Physical Therapist’s plan of care Assist the PT with evaluations, testing, and complex procedures Observe, record, and report resident conditions, responses, and progress Document treatment sessions and maintain accurate daily records Assist with resident and caregiver education as directed by the Physical Therapist Collaborate with nursing staff, therapy team members, and families Assist with department organization and equipment care Participate in in‑service programs, team meetings, and care conferences Maintain compliance with all regulatory, professional, and facility standards Stay current through continuing education and ongoing competency training Maintain expected productivity while demonstrating professionalism and teamwork Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Active Tennessee PTA license (or eligibility) Current BLS/CPR certification (or obtained during orientation) Strong observational, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team Make a meaningful impact — PRN and flexible, with a supportive in‑house rehab environment.
