Neurohospitalist- Nurse Practitioner- Piedmont Columbus Regional
Piedmont is recruiting for an APP to join our Neuro Hospitalist program at Piedmont Columbus Regional. This is a full time 7-on-7-off position with no call responsibilities. You will work alongside physicians providing care to general neurology and stroke patients in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities
Follow-up with current general neurology and stroke patients.
Triage new patients prior to being seen by doctor.
Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations and record data in patients medical record.
Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care.
Write progress notes; prepare patient work-ups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings.
Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise. Apply preventative and alternative treatment strategies for possible procedural complications.

Qualifications Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years of advanced practice provider experience with a high degree of clinical judgment.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
