AdvisaCare is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Psych Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Psych RN, you will provide care and support to patients with psychiatric and mental health conditions.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health needs
Develop individualized care plans and treatment goals
Administer medications and monitor patients’ response to treatment
Provide counseling and psychoeducation to patients and their families
Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
Requirements:
Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
Must have experience in psychiatric nursing
Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to patient care
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
