Job Description American Traveler is seeking an RN with a TN or compact license for a Cardiovascular ICU position caring for cardiac critical care patients.
Responsibilities
Work in a Critical Care Unit with a capacity of 6 beds
Serves patients recovering from cardiac surgery, myocardial infarction, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, and cardiopulmonary arrest
Patient population includes young adults through late adults (ages 18-60+)
Night shift position with hours from 18:45 to 07:15
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Required to work either Christmas or New Year's holiday
Responsibilities include providing specialized nursing care for critically ill cardiac patients
Local candidates are accepted but are subject to a reduced local rate per the facility radius rule
All positions are auto offer
COVID vaccination is not required
Must provide a copy of driver’s license for consideration
Must provide two separate professional references
Holiday coverage required for either Christmas or New Year's
Requirements
Active and current TN or compact RN license
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Nursys license verification completed within 30 days prior to start
Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and a US home address
