DVM Student Externship – Lindale Veterinary Clinic Practice Lindale Veterinary Clinic is a well‑established, full‑service small and large animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We have been serving our clients’ needs since 1997 at our current location. We are one of less than 15% of practices that are AAHA accredited.

Our Facility Our facility includes a well‑stocked pharmacy, an in‑hospital surgery suite, in‑house X‑ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas.

Position Purpose Come extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program provides 1st‑4th year veterinary students with hands‑on experience and mentorship to help them become practice‑ready by their first day in practice.

Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. Length of externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Requirements / Qualifications Eligibility: - Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA‑Accredited Veterinary School. - Must be able to provide student PLIT.
