Summary
The
Physical Therapy Supervisor
is responsible for the administration, interpretation, and evaluation of tests and measurements. The role plans and modifies treatment programs. The Supervisor assists the Rehab Manager with coordination of PT, OT, and SLP operations, including performing treatments within the professional’s respective Practice Act, as prescribed by a referring physician. The role maintains performance improvement activities, participates in CQI activities, and ensures compliance with all state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols. The Supervisor completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy or related field. Master Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Preferred Education:
Master Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy.
Preferred Experience:
Prefer 3 years as clinician in a comparable facility. Prefer 2 years supervisory experience and/or demonstrated proficiency in those skills needed for supervisory functions.
Required Certifications/Licensure:
Possession of current Texas State license.
Preferred Certifications/Licensure:
Clinical Instructor Certification as applicable.
Required Courses/Completions (e.g., CPR):
Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
