Speech Language Pathologist
– CommuniCare Rehabilitation | Clarksburg Healthcare Center, Clarksburg, WV
CommuniCare Rehab, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, invites applicants for a full‑time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position. This role offers a generous $5,000 sign‑on bonus, competitive wages, flexible work schedule, and a supportive in‑house team culture.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, review, and screen patients’ or residents’ medical charts and physician‑ordered assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive function, including administration, scoring, and interpretation of specialized speech tests.
Instruct residents, families, and caregivers on monitoring speech, practicing new skills, and implementing diet recommendations and safe swallowing techniques.
Attend and lead interdisciplinary meetings, share clinical findings, and make recommendations to the rehabilitation team; participate in family meetings and education.
Provide care at multiple locations, responding to the diverse needs of residents.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid or pending State Speech‑Language Pathology license.
