Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Per Diem Inpatient Pharmacist position, requiring 30 hours per pay period. Located in Bakersfield, CA, the role entails preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications as prescribed by authorized medical providers. Responsibilities include monitoring patient medication therapies, providing pharmaceutical care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and participating in interdisciplinary healthcare teams. This role supports safe and effective medication use within the inpatient setting, ensuring optimal health outcomes for patients.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice
Expertise in Medicine and Pharmaceutical Care
Experience in Compounding medications
Must hold an active and valid Pharmacist license in the state of California
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
Familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures for inpatient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with healthcare teams
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent qualification
