Physical Therapist (PT) – Part‑Time
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited physical therapy program and passing the required national examination.
Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a PT in the state of Florida.
Prior experience in physical therapy preferred.
Member of the American Physical Therapy Association preferred.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Proficient administrative and public relations skills.
Thorough knowledge of therapy principles, methods, materials, and equipment.
Understanding of patient hazards and necessary precautionary measures.
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with patients and medical staff.
Ability to interpret and follow physician directives and recommend treatment programs.
Demonstrated emotional stability for handling patient and employee demands.
Maintenance of patient and employee confidentiality.
Knowledge of Medicare and third‑party reimbursement preferred.
