Job Summary As a Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you will prepare the surgical suite and assist during operations while collaborating with a highly skilled team.
Responsibilities
Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment.
Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping, ensuring comfort, privacy, and safety.
Scrub in and partner with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating needs.
Monitor patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly to any concerns.
Uphold sterile technique, complete room turnover efficiently, and support a high‑performing collaborative team.
Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
(ST) Surgical Technologist certification required.
Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate.
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
