Laboratory Analyst – Multiple Openings (Muskegon, MI)
IEH Laboratories, a leader in food safety, is now accepting applications for Laboratory Analyst – Day Shift at its facility in Muskegon, MI.
Responsibilities
Analyze food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay.
Perform various microbe enumerations.
Conduct data entry and laboratory reporting.
Maintain quality control and media preparation.
Execute other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED (required); a BS or BA in biological sciences or related field preferred.
Proficiency with data entry and computer applications.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory.
A valid US driver’s license and clean driving record (no accidents in the last 5 years).
Shift & Benefits Full‑time employee will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period. Multiple shifts are available: 12‑hour rotating shift (10:00am–10:00pm) or 8‑hour Monday‑Friday shift. Occasional weekend and holiday work may be required.
