Operating Room

Shift – This is a WEEKEND shift role, Day shift 630 to 7pm Saturday Sunday Monday

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Irving (BSWMI) performs all types of surgical cases including Robotic, General, Podiatry, Colorectal, GYN, Cardiothoracic, Orthopedic, Endovascular, and Urology on high acuity patients. We have a total of 11 OR suites which include 2 Hybrid ORs.

Surgical Services Patient Population: Outpatients, Inpatients that include ICU/CCU Ventilators, Central Line/Aline Management, Critical Drips, PCU/Tele/Med-Surg.

OR: 1

DSU: 5

PACU: 2

Department Specifics: Family and teamwork oriented. Patient/Staff safety is our top priority. Active Unit Based Council.

Registered Nurse Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.

Nursing major.

Minimum of 2 years of experience.

License/Certification: RN.

BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire).

ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 30 days of hire).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate of an accredited program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.

Major: Nursing.

Experience: 2 Years.

CERTIFICATION / LICENSE / REGISTRATION

Registered Nurse (RN).

BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire).
