Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location Berlin, CT
Schedule Monday through Friday; PRN and part‑time available.
Compensation Hourly rate starting at $29/hr based on experience.
Overview Our Select Physical Therapy outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top‑notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team offers treatment services that maximize functionality and promote optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as mandated by the State Practice Act.
Implement high‑quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with professional principles and Select Medical policies.
Interact positively with centers and patients, enhancing and expanding client relations.
Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to clinic protocols.
Qualifications
College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process).
CPR certification.
