RN Recertification Nurse.
Job Summary As an RN Recertification Nurse, you will be instrumental in coordinating, re-evaluating, and confirming the medical necessity of continued home health care services for our patients, and providing patient care and ensuring optimal outcomes.
More About the Role
Exact travel locations and daily shifts are customizable based on your availability and willingness to travel.
Typical hours are Monday – Friday (weekdays) during the day (8am – 5pm).
Round‑trip / door‑to‑door mileage reimbursement provided.
Services primarily include recertifications, but opportunities for starts of care (SOC), resumptions of care (ROC), and other assessments and services are available. New hire orientations and supervisory reviews are also included.
At least 2 years of experience in home health is required.
Must have experience with OASIS and NON‑OASIS assessments.
Compensation
Hourly: starting at $35/hr (part‑time), pay is hourly and paid weekly, or negotiated salary with a minimum number of recertifications per week.
Annual salary (plus PTO): negotiable based on agreed‑upon minimum recertifications per week.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse, with an active RN license and ability to practice in the State of Ohio.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in home health agency or equivalent setting.
CPR and First Aid certifications required (or obtainable prior to hire date).
Experience with OASIS and NON‑OASIS assessments is required.
Strong background in nursing, patient care, and confidentiality.
Strong attendance and dependability track record.
Desirable character traits: reliable, honest, professional, compassionate, detail‑oriented, accountable, friendly and accommodating, respectful, and positive.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.
Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to travel to clients in multiple counties.
