Seasonal RN Registered Nurse Float Pool Days Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) invites applications for a Seasonal RN Float Pool role available on day shifts. The position is temporary, lasting six months.

Job Overview Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.

Responsibilities

Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.

Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Utilizes strong communication, interpersonal, basic computer, and customer service skills.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program.

Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire.

Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License.

Preferred one year, full‑time or three years, part‑time experience in an acute care setting.

Required certifications at start date or within 90 days:

All Nursing Units (except nursery): ACLS as of start date (new graduate RNs within 90 days).

Women’s Center: NRP as of start date (inexperienced L&D nurses within 90 days).

ICU/PCU: NIH within 90 days.

ER: PALS, CPI, and NIH within 90 days.

PACU: PALS as of start date (inexperienced PACU nurses within 90 days).
