Physical Therapist – Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC, ICU, CC), Lafayette, LA. Full-Time, Day Shift, Direct Hire via Vibra Permanent Staffing.

Responsibilities
Deliver evidence‑based, hands‑on physical therapy to medically complex patients recovering from serious illness, injury, or surgery.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to implement and adjust individualized rehabilitation plans.
Assess patient mobility, strength, endurance, and functional capacity, and develop targeted treatment strategies to maximize recovery and independence.
Educate patients and caregivers on mobility techniques, fall prevention, and safe discharge planning to promote long‑term outcomes.
Accurately document patient progress and treatment effectiveness in compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and professional best practices.
Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist license in Louisiana.
1+ year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience strongly preferred.
BLS required.
Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Compassionate, team‑oriented mindset.
