Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Facility: Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at West Volusia
Location: Deltona, FL
Shift: Full-Time, All Shifts
Pay Rate: Up to $34 per hour
Key Duties
Administer and record medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepare for and assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
Observe and report patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to the appropriate individuals.
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures.
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents.
Document nursing care in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and facility policies.
Respond promptly to emergency situations and implement appropriate interventions.
Support CNAs and other nursing staff in providing high-quality patient care.
Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to resident assessments.
Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
Perform other job-related duties as required.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Valid LPN license in the state of Florida.
CPR certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
