Job Details We seek a skilled Physical Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Caro, Michigan. This role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients’ conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.
Operate and maintain specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely.
Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other health professionals to coordinate care.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, proper body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management techniques.
Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities.
Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.
Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
Valid Physical Therapy license in Michigan.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
Prior experience in physical therapy; new graduates welcome.
Additional certifications or licenses relevant to the position.
