Sonographer OBGYN – Trinity Health
Location: 3600 Stelzer Road, Suite 220, Columbus, Ohio 43219
Hours of office: Monday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Position Purpose: The Sonographer performs a variety of ultrasound procedures, both professional and non‑clinical, consistent with optimal image quality.
What You Will Do
Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, both professional and non‑clinical, consistent with optimal image quality.
Enter online charges in the Computer Radiology Information System (RIS) and maintain accuracy as specified by the Administrative Policy.
Provide patient care, ensure an environment of patient safety, promote evidence‑based practice and quality initiatives, and exhibit professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging national standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an approved ultrasound program.
Registered as a Sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or ARRT (S), with specialties in abdomen, obstetrics and gynecology, or other areas as appropriate.
Prior experience as a Sonographer preferred.
Effective communication skills.
Current BLS certification.
