Department: The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a clinical psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health.
Position Overview The Department is actively growing and recruiting psychiatrists committed to excellence in clinical care and an academic career. Opportunities include inpatient and ambulatory psychiatry, student mental health, neuromodulation, consult‐liaison, addiction, neuropsychiatry, women’s health, and crisis psychiatry. Candidates will work within interdisciplinary programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide patient care in accordance with MD/DO standards, including inpatient, outpatient, and crisis services.
Participate in teaching, mentoring, and supervised residents and fellows.
Engage in clinical research and scholarly pursuits.
Serve on departmental and university committees, representing the program at professional meetings.
Practice within the established Medical Center standards and policies.
Requirements
MD or DO.
Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency Program or Addiction Medicine Fellowship.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine.
Eligible for an Ohio Medical License.
