Interventional Radiologist Full Time Days Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images. What We\'re Looking For
Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
Experience : Minimum of one year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology, required. Minimum of one year of experience in Interventional Radiology, preferred.
Licensure/Certification : Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography – RT(R), required. IV Credentialed, preferred. Applicable state licensure, required.
Additional skills required : Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Thorough knowledge of interventional procedure and activity.
