Purpose Our research division seeks a Scientist to work on bioconjugation for Antibody‑Drug Conjugates (ADCs), focusing on conjugation and purification of ADC to drive projects in SSF. The role collaborates closely with the Antibody Engineering group to advance our projects.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Perform conjugation and purification to prepare ADCs to support research activities
Design, optimize, and develop CMC‑friendly conjugation processes
Lead the creation of optimal ADC clinical candidates by appropriate conjugation methods
Manage CROs to perform above activities
Actively participate in ADC projects, contributing to team decision‑making through creation of ADCs and the data generated
Serve as an ADC Subject Matter Expert, offering appropriate advice and solutions
Contribute to patents, publications, and technical reports
Qualifications Required
PhD with 2+ years relevant laboratory experience in biologics research
Extensive hands‑on experience with a wide range of conjugation chemistry, including lysine, cysteine, and enzymatic mediated methods
Experience in analytical methods for protein characterization, ideally antibody‑related modalities
Desire and ability to work in a cross‑functional, flexible, and team‑oriented environment
CRO management experience
Well‑balanced communication skills in own language and in English
Preferred
Experience in antibody‑related modality development especially in ADCs
Experience supporting ADC development from discovery to early CMC development
Experience in oncology research
Experience in patent application
Experience in collaborations with external research groups
Working Environment This position is based in SSF and requires on‑site work.
Salary Range $103,600–$162,800 (final compensation determined based on a variety of factors).
