Nurse Practitioner – Ultra Health Providers
Ultra Health Providers offers a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated nurse practitioner to provide high‑quality primary care in a skilled nursing facility setting. The role features a Monday‑Friday schedule and collaborative teamwork with healthcare professionals. Pay Range
Base pay: $100,000.00/yr – $150,000.00/yr Actual compensation will be based on skills, experience, and location. Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for emergencies and urgent care visits. Establish and build strong working relationships with administrators and staff. Verify admission orders and conduct initial assessments of residents. Perform physical exams, medication reviews, and depression screening. Collaborate with the facility medical director, attending physicians, and nursing staff to deliver the highest level of care to residents. Communicate with and counsel family members on treatment options when material changes in status occur. Minimum Qualifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner License in Alabama, or the ability to obtain one. DEA License. Nurse Practitioner national certification. A clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties. Vaccination against COVID‑19 required for all new hires unless qualified for a remote, religious, or medical exemption. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in internal medicine, gerontology, or cardiology. Excellent administrative, organizational, and verbal skills. Ability to work independently, with detail orientation. Dependable and reliable. Nursing experience in long‑term care / skilled nursing facility a plus. Benefits
