Nurse Practitioner – Gastroenterology Nurse-Allied Role at AdventHealth West Florida
AdventHealth Carrollwood is seeking to employ an experienced GI Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will serve as a member of the medical care management team for physician practice patients. You may diagnose medical conditions, plan and implement treatment collaboratively agreed to in the Florida Hospital Physician Group medical delineation of clinical privileges for Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners.

MSN (Masters of Nursing)
Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Education and Experience Required
MSN (Masters of Nursing)
One or more years of experience
Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Provides direct care with licensing credentials under the auspices of supervising MD
Licensure, Certification or Registration Required
Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida

Practice Description The West Florida Division Medical Group continues to grow rapidly to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Over the last six years, we’ve nearly tripled in size with a projection to grow to 835 providers by the end of 2025. With the addition of AdventHealth Port Charlotte, we span a broad geography in eight counties, with practices in Charlotte, Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties as well as five Care Pavilions. Our providers represent 40 specialties and we care for one million patients annually. Using leading edge technology, innovation, and compassion, we deliver our brand of whole-person care.

A leader in spine and orthopedic care, we’ve earned the prestigious Joint Commission "Gold Seal" accreditation for our spine surgery program. You’ll also find access to leading techniques in robotic surgery and heart and vascular care as well as exceptional experiences with services including specialty acute care, bariatric care, women’s care, wound care, imaging, lab, and physical therapy.
