Medical Assistant (MA, EMT, CNA, Paramedic) – Neurology
Location:
2660 Main St, Bridgeport, CT 10438
Shift:
Monday‑Friday; travel to Norwalk 2‑3 days per week.

Job Description Provide basic clinical and clerical support in the delivery of patient care within the Medical Assistant scope of education. Experience continued training in all aspects of the role. Provide direct patient care under the direction of a provider, including vitals, allergy/medical reconciliation, screenings, patient history, health maintenance, advance directives and virtual health. Provide indirect patient care related to the scope of education including scheduling, check‑in/out, referrals, chart prep and prior authorizations. Conduct point‑of‑care testing with quality control and documentation. Travel to Norwalk 2‑3 days per week.
Qualifications Education
Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic or Medic certification OR relevant experience as outlined below.
Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days of hire or job transfer.
Sustain all required credentials throughout employment.
Experience
At least one year of direct patient care experience in an acute or ambulatory setting.
Relevant experience or MA externship in a busy medical office preferred.
EPIC EMR experience preferred.
