Overview
MEDcare Urgent Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Columbia, SC location. Nurse Practitioners play a critical role in our clinical teams, delivering fast, friendly, and affordable healthcare at our 12 MEDcare Urgent Care centers. Our centers feature onsite digital X-ray, EKG, and common laboratory assays to support high-quality patient care. Our centers are open 7 days per week, 8AM - 8PM. Responsibilities
Provide complete, compassionate care to all patients Serve as a role model and leader for that day's team Direct patient care including, but not limited to, physical exams, evaluations, diagnostic testing, diagnoses and treatment for patients of all ages Standard office procedures to include, but not limited to, incision and drainage, splinting, suturing, infection management, wound care and more Communicate test results, follow-up care, and other treatment plans as appropriate Benefits
