Position Overview
Cardiothoracic Radiologist, Open Rank at the Department of Radiology, Joe R and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio. Assistant Professor to Professor rank includes clinical and teaching duties. Services provided at multiple affiliated facilities, including new Multispecialty Research Hospital. Hospitals are regional referral centers for trauma, oncology, surgery, general medicine, and organ transplantation. Responsibilities
Teaching medical students, overseeing/mentoring residents in the performance and interpretation of cardiothoracic imaging studies, participating in research, providing clinical care to patients, and participating in various teaching/patient management conferences. Qualifications
Medical Degree, completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency program, board certified/eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic or Chest Radiology, current or able to obtain a Texas Medical License prior to start. Competent in diagnostic radiology to include cardiothoracic/chest imaging, cardiac radiology (CT and MR). Candidates meeting all requirements may apply at http://uthscsa.edu/hr/employment.asp.
