Responsibilities
Dispense, compound, label, store, and ensure proper use of pharmaceutical preparations.
Contribute to the efficient operation of the department, direct Pharmacy Technicians, and advance Norton Healthcare goals.
Provide pharmacy-related education to pharmacists, technicians, other health care practitioners, and the public.
Exercise leadership in all matters related to the medication use process for patients of all ages.
Support the QI process through development and monitoring of performance indicators.
Facilitate pharmacy work teams to meet quality and clinical standards of care.
Assist the Director in ensuring effective use of resources and in meeting budget and value proposition targets.
Execute non-standardized tasks that require professional judgment.
