Job Summary and Qualifications As a highly‑skilled and compassionate RN in the Women’s Unit you will provide direct patient care in the postpartum/couple setting. You will work to provide patients with an individualized care plan through assessment and planning. Our team supports each other like family and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

Responsibilities

Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care.

Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient’s clinical condition including fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies.

Perform nursing duties as needed in the continuum of care for all areas of maternal‑child health.

Assist physicians with procedures in postpartum care and the newborn nursery.

Participate in process improvement efforts and activities for the department.

Act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.

Qualifications

Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

STABLE obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Registered Nurse in the state of Idaho or Compact RN.

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support or Advanced Life Support Obstetrics obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
