Position Summary We are looking for a Licensed Independent Therapist (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT) to provide counseling and therapy to our patients. Services will be delivered remotely via telemedicine to patients of our Community Health Center partners. We focus on a “say yes” first approach, treating patients wherever they are and guiding them on their journey to recovery and stabilization.

Clinician must have an active, unrestricted behavioral health license in California.

Key Areas of Ownership

Provide patient‑care modalities of evidence‑based practices to best meet clinical needs (CBT, DBT, Solution‑Focused Therapy, Psychoeducation, Trauma Therapy, Addiction Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Bereavement/Grief Counseling, etc.).

Implement these modalities in individual and group therapy settings, engaging patients in their treatment plans.

Review, sign, and manage patient clinical psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and consents in a timely manner; maintain clinic records with appropriate documentation.

Document all services and patient activities; ensure compliance with clinical best practices, contractual, regulatory, and legal requirements.

Conduct crisis intervention for individuals and families based on safety plans.

Participate in regular case planning with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clinically appropriate patient dispositions.

Engage in individual and group supervision; participate in ongoing education, in‑services, training, and other activities to maintain and improve competency.

Provide case‑management services to promote recovery and community reintegration.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted mental health license in California.

Comfortable working remotely.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods during working hours.

Manual Dexterity: Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity for using computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.

Visual Requirements: Adequate vision for reading computer screens and documents.

Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence.

Hearing: Sufficient hearing ability for participating in phone calls or virtual meetings.

Work Environment: Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions with reliable internet connectivity.
