About the Position
The West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics, is seeking a podiatrist (rank options: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice at the Student Health Building in Morgantown, WV.
Responsibilities
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of podiatry. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students and orthopaedic residents. The position emphasizes diabetic wound care, general podiatry, and non-operative treatment and care. Elective reconstructive hindfoot and forefoot surgery is not a focus of this role. Opportunities exist to participate in clinical and translational research.
Qualifications
Candidate must have a DPM degree from an accredited college of podiatry and be eligible for state medical licensure. Successful candidate must have completed a podiatry residency program and be board certified or eligible in podiatry. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
