A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support students in an educational setting located in Lawrenceville, GA. This role involves providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders. Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications And Experience
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting
Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations, including IDEA
Strong assessment and diagnostic skills for speech and language disorders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability and willingness to travel as required to support multiple school locations
