Job Description.
Assesses and analyzes the health status of patients comprehensively upon admission and on an ongoing basis. Formulates and updates individualized patient care plans based on assessment data in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team. Directs, implements, and coordinates patient care activities to ensure the delivery of quality care. Communicates and documents all patient care, including assessments, plans, interventions, patient responses, and follow-up. Transcribes and directs the implementation of physician orders accurately and promptly. Provides patient education based on assessed needs and evaluates understanding. Conducts ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes and documents the effectiveness of interventions and strategies. Adheres to nursing department standards, completes competency testing, and maintains current licensures and certifications. Participates in performance improvement activities and collaborates on needed policy and procedure changes. Demonstrates knowledge and awareness of the specific physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications.
Associate's of Nursing (Required), Bachelor's of Nursing, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body.
Pay Range.
$31.53 - $52.24
