Respiratory Therapist PRN - Howard Regional
Position: PRN Respiratory Therapist at Howard Regional Hospital, part of Community Health Network. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality respiratory care to patients in need of acute, critical, or neonatal support.

Responsibilities
Partner with physicians and staff to provide patient‑centered care and outstanding service delivered with respect.
Advance the patient care plan to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Work with patients and families to provide age‑ and culturally‑appropriate care.
Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
Implement conventional ventilation methods and perform a variety of duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, and storing respiratory equipment.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree from an accredited respiratory care program.
Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP).
Registered by the NBRC and eligible for Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within 12 months of graduation or start date.
Critical Care and Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Previous Respiratory Therapist experience in an acute‑care hospital; Critical Care required and Level II nursery experience preferred.
Demonstrated dedication to patient care and expertise in respiratory therapy.
Effective communication skills with patients, staff, physicians, and visitors.
