Pine Creek Care Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
to join our team on the
AM shift
(6:30AM - 2:30PM). This role is ideal for an LVN who enjoys hands-on resident care, teamwork, and leading CNAs in delivering exceptional clinical services in a long-term care setting.
Position Overview As an LVN at Pine Creek Care Center, you will provide direct nursing care to residents while supervising nursing assistants to ensure safe, respectful, and high-quality care. You will work closely with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support residents' health, comfort, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans and physician orders
Supervise and support CNAs during daily care activities
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Complete timely and accurate charting and clinical documentation
Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes
Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and leadership
Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
Participate in quality assurance, infection control, and safety initiatives
Foster a calm, respectful, and positive environment for residents and staff
Qualifications
Current, active, and unencumbered LVN license in the state
Current CPR certification
Long-term care experience preferred
Knowledge of PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and confidentiality
