Temporary Faculty Chemistry position at Georgia Southern University (Job ID: 292637, Location: Statesboro, GA). This temporary, part‑time role is for the 2025‑2026 academic year on a semester‑by‑semester basis.

About the Department The Department of Biochemistry, Chemistry & Physics is housed in the College of Science and Mathematics and offers bachelors, masters, and an integrated Ph.D. program with strong research funding.
Job Summary The Department is accepting applications for part‑time faculty to teach undergraduate chemistry labs in various modalities (face‑to‑face, hybrid, online). Teaching assignments are based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Responsibilities
Teach introductory chemistry laboratory courses.
Adapt to face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online modalities as needed.
Required Qualifications
MS in Chemistry, Applied Physical Sciences, or closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Chemistry or Physical Sciences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching introductory chemistry laboratory courses.
Proposed Salary Salary will be considered based on qualifications and faculty credentials.
