Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive wound assessments, including etiology, staging, measurements, and documentation.

Develop and implement individualized wound‑care treatment plans using evidence‑based practice.

Provide advanced wound‑care interventions such as specialty dressings, wound vac/negative pressure therapy, and debridement as allowed by scope of practice.

Collaborate with physicians, bedside nursing, nutrition, therapy, and case management to support optimal wound healing.

Lead pressure injury prevention initiatives, complete audits, and support facility quality goals related to wound care.

Provide ongoing wound‑care training, education, and clinical support to nursing staff.

Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards and regulatory documentation requirements.

Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds.

Integrate evidence‑based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

Perform other related duties as requested.

Qualifications

Current North Carolina RN license (NC licensure or multi‑state compact license).

Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Annual salary: $71,100.00 – $97,800.00.
